Sitecase collects nothing, transmits nothing, and has no server. This page is short because there is very little to describe.
Everything. Your jobs, your clients' names and addresses, your photographs, your notes, your prices, the signatures you take, and your business details are written to your device's own storage and are never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.
Nothing, with one exception that is not ours to avoid: purchases. Subscribing goes through Apple's App Store, which handles the payment and tells the app whether a subscription is active. We never see your name, your email address, or your payment details — Apple does not give them to us. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
There is no analytics library in Sitecase. No crash reporter. No attribution or advertising SDK. No “anonymous usage statistics”. No third-party code of any kind. We do not know how many jobs you have recorded, which features you use, or whether you have opened the app today.
It is verified rather than asserted. Every import in the app is an Apple system framework, and the app is watched for open network sockets while a complete job is recorded and a report produced. If Sitecase ever did make a request, that check would catch it.
The app asks for camera access to photograph a job, and for photo library access if you want to add pictures you already took. Both are used only for that. Photographs are copied into the app's own storage and scaled down; they are not written back to your photo library and not uploaded.
Sitecase reads text in your photographs — a model plate, a serial number, a meter — so the job is searchable later. This happens entirely on the device using Apple's own on-device recognition. The images are not sent anywhere to be processed.
When you send a report, it leaves through whatever you choose in the system share sheet — mail, messages, a file app. From that moment the report is in the hands of whatever service you picked, and their privacy policy applies to it, not ours.
Sitecase is a tool for working tradespeople and is not directed at children.
If this policy ever changes it will be because the app changed. The date at the top will change with it.
